Error renaming connection Installer error VirtualBox-4.3.14-95030- Win.exe

[Vbox-Wrangler]

Upgrading from 4.2.18 to 4.3.14-95030 on a Windows 7 x64 SP1 host produces the following:

"--Error Renaming Connection-- Cannot rename this connection. A connection with the name you specified already exists. Specify a different name."

1. Uninstalled Virtualbox and manually deleted leftover drivers in

system folder (Vbox.*)

2. Disabled then removed leftover network adapters in Device Manager,

after restarting, the previously non-removable Network connection adapters went away.

3. Tried to install the latest version as of 7/16/2014 (4.3.14) and it still produces the "Error Renaming" error.

I have not performed any registry modifications.

Is that the path I need to go next? and if so, where are Vbox settings located?

Note: I have always installed (launched the latest installer, without uninstalling the previous version first)
