Allow BIOS Logo in 16bit or 32bit color BMP

GIMP is not able to export 8bit color BMP files of the type that virtualbox's logo screen requires. Can the allowed color depth of the bios logo splash screen be increased to at least 16bit color?

We don't plan this. GIMP is definitely able to create compatible logo files.

1. Make sure the file is not bigger than 640x480
2. Export as '.bmp'
3. In the 'Compatibility Options', check the 'Do not write color space information'
4. In the 'Advanced Options', select '24 bits -- R8 G8 B8'

The resulting file can be used as VBox splash screen (just tested with GIMP 2.8).
