Virtual Box crashes with a critical Error approx 4-5 times a day (VERR_MM_HYPER_NO_MEMORY)

Description

I'm running a debian installation as the guest on a windows 7 host and a number of times a day Virtual Box crashes. I'm not doing anything particularly interesting, just developing some c++ code to manipulate images. I have three programs running on the host, KDevelop, Image Viewer and Files. Without warning I get a windows pop up box saying virtual box critical error and have to restart the virtual machine

The error code is VERR_MM_HYPER_NO_MEMORY. Could you try the following:

VBoxManage setextradata "VM name" "VBoxInternal/MM/CanUseLargerHeap" 1
