Audio CD not accessible by guest machines

Description
In a win 8.1 host (64 bit) running VB 4.3.8 audio CDs are not accessible by either Windows or Ubuntu guest machines. Data CDs work fine in all tested cases.

Confirmed for Fedora 22 host running Windows 10 guest. I'm using VirtualBox 5.0. Neither VLC or Windows Media Player are able to play AudioCDs and DVDs. Ripping DVDs with AnyDVD works great, though.
EDIT: Figured out my problem. Had to run Windows Media Player as root

Works on both Windows and Linux hosts without issues here and I don't need to run the media player as an administrator, closing as fixed. Please reopen if this is still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
