VirtualBox 4.3.8 on Ubuntu 12.04 (AMD64) crashed multiple times in IsMultiMonitor() - SIGSEV

Description

I'm using Remote Desktop to connect to VMs running on Ubuntu from Windows 7.

VirtualBox 4.3.6 was stable in this environment, since the upgrade to 4.3.8 the VMs started crashing.

Thank you for the log files. Could you also provide a core dump?

I should have added that the Windows VM only crashed towards the end of applying Windows updates while restarting or about to restart the VM. Every time I applied Windows updates the VM crashed. With the recently released Patch Tuesday updates from Microsoft the VM is now stable. Updates to Ubuntu was also applied.

This might have been a Windows bug that is now resolved, as the Windows VM is not rock solid.

Please close this ticket. I'll log a new ticket if I see this error happen again, and will ensure that I capture all required information including a core dump.
