I'm trying to setyp VMware ESXi as guest for windows 7 host. I figured out that ESXi fail to setup on latest version of VirtualBox 4.3.6 r91406. But it work fine on VirtualBox 4.2.20 r91556 I've tested ESXi 5.1.0 and 5.1.0 versions - behavior is the same. Also I've recorded ESXi behavior with VirtualBox embedded recorder.

Without VBox.log it's not feasible to help... we're lacking information. It smells like a MSR related regression, but only the log would allow to tell.

Unfortunately, wbem file (the one with recording) is bigger than attachment maxsize. If you need it i can provide dropbox-link for it.

Replying to frank:

Looks like it is duplicate. I've tested VirtualBox-4.3.7-92235-Win.exe you provided in #12544 and it works fine with ESXi 5.5.0 and ESXi 5.1.0. Thank you!
