Description

I installed Virtual Box on Vista business (Dual core 2 2 Gigs Ram).

I tried installing Damn Small Linux but the system hangs when it display a message that the Visrtual desktop is 16 Bits while real display is 32 bit.

Although the computer seems to respond in the background (EMail and Msn respond) the mouse and Keuboard completely stop responding even if a press the right CTRL button.

I have to reboot the computer to restore control.

Try again with 1.6.0 and report back if it's still relevant. Thanks.

Uninstalled 1.5.6 and installed 1.6.0

Tried to boot with Damn small linux 4.3.

The system makes it a bit further before it stops responding.

I can capture / uncapture in the install/boot screen but then the Virtual Box message "16 Bits while real display is 32 bit" displays before X boots up completely freezes computer. I can no longer capture/uncapture and the computers completely stops responding.

I enabled USB and sound in Virtual Box settings. I'm using a Lenovo X61 under Vista Basic.
