Reported by: Alexander Owned by:
Component: other Version: VirtualBox 4.3.4
Keywords: BSOD 0x10000050 RDPDD.dll RDP connection Ubuntu Cc:
Guest type: Windows Host type: Linux

Description

When operating host Windows XP under terminal session (RDP) and running guest with Ubuntu, host system crashes with BSOD 0x10000050. System crashes after random time past from launching VM, but as usual it is about several minutes. It takes less time to crash if using clipboard. No define actions is known to reproduce a crash.

At any other cases BSODs never happen. e.g.: -they don't happen when running guest XP, Server 2003, 7 at host under terminal session, -they don't happen when running guest Ubuntu Server at host under console session.

The issue is related to all stable versions of Virtual Box from July 2013 (I haven't tried older ones) till now (December 2013). Current version: 4.3.4 r91027 Latest Extension Pack installed

The correct 'host type' in ticket header is "Windows".
The correct 'guest type' in ticket header is "Linux".
I don't see how to modify the ticket.
