If anyone finds a legal, reliable way to do this, do let me know ;) 2 2 3 3 !VirtualBox 4.3, over ambitiously treats CR4.SMXE bit to mean the CPU is in SMX mode, which strictly speak is not correct. That bit only indicates that SMX mode can be used but not whether the CPU is in SMX mode or not.
