Virtualbox 4.2.20 on Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon 2.0.13 switching workspaces is impossible

Since latest upgrade it is impossible to switch desktops when vm is runnoing in fullscreen mode. Leaving fullscreen mode enables switching desktops again. This appeared for the first time after upgrading to v4.2.20.

Which VBox version did you use before?

And did you make sure you released keyboard capturing before trying to switch desktops? (I assume you are using a keyboard combination for that.)

Thanks for replying. It was 4.2.18 I was using before

I use Ctrl+Alt+arrow right/left. Before that I release VirtualBox with the Host key (if it is that what you mean) to return to the host machine. VirtualBox then starts jumping/switching but stays focused.

Downgrading to 4.2.18 solves taht issue.

I opened an issue on github as well. See: ​https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues/2672 Behaviour also appears with v4.3.4.
