UI freeze and crash in mavericks

[elatllat]

History: Upgraded to mavericks, encounterd the network error so upgraded to virtualbox 4.3.2 was able to start a headless linux guest from the command line.

Problem: The GUI will become unresponsive when I try select a windows guest and press the start button, then the UI will quit. There after the guest is not assessable.

Which VBox version did you use before, VBox 4.3.0?

I think it was 4.3.1 but I'm not sure

This is no longer an issue, but there is no "close" options only "leave as new" under Modify Ticket, so please someone close it.

So what happened, does the VM not crash anymore or did you change anything?

I'm seeing this dialog too, starting a powered off ubuntu 12.10 VM which was created in an earlier version of Virtualbox. After the "can't start process" warning all that is left is the cancel option, which then hangs the virtualbox window in "canceling". Same situation arises after a reboot, at least with the same VM image

Moving up to 4.3.2 from 4.3.0 fixed this for me
