| 1 | | I was wrong about the network adapter. I tried disabling it, and XP now boots! As a temporary workaround, I can probably just use a different network adapter. The priority of the ticket can probably be lowered now as well. |

| | 3 | I tried PCNet FAST III, Intel Desktop and virtio adapters, all crash the VM. I also tried changing between, Bridged, NAT and Not Attached to no avail. It seems that the only workaround is to disable the network adapter completely. |
