    initial v1
1 I have the same problem. Can't use my VM's anymore. I tried also to reinstall Virtualbox and some others. What I recognized additionally: Everytime Virtualbox tries to create a host-only adapter, there will be a new unknown device in windows device manager. After I recognized it, there were more than 30 unknown devices. The problem is, that I can't install the device in normal boot mode. Everytime I want to uninstall the devices, I have to boot in Windows recovery mode to uninstall them. Everyone else noticed this behavior?

33I assume that something is wrong with permissions in windows. Maybe the installation brokes some permission rights in the OS.
