Windows guest hangs on shift-click

About once a week when I click while holding down the shift modifier key (as in when selecting text with the cursor at one end and my mouse at the other end), the VirtualBox running Windows hangs. No clicks, no keystrokes, no shutdown signal, nothing gets through. Any flashing cursor disappears. The host mouse pointer still works.

I understand without being reproduceable this bug report isn't much use, but perhaps if others are experiencing the problem they didn't file a report for the same reason. I've searched the tickets looking for anything related to "shift-click" without success.

I'm hoping by filing the bug report we might find if others are experiencing the same intermittent problem.

If anyone has a suggestion regarding what I can do to diagnose more information to include on this ticket, please let me know at gkholman@… so I can flesh this out with more helpful data.

I've marked this "minor" because it is intermittent, but when it happens and I lose work it feels a lot more like "major" or "critical".
