Old xp guest fail to on haswell Xeon

Description
I have an old virtual machine that I have been running several different machines through the years. Now I have got a new haswell Xeon with nvidia quadro k4000 graphics and ecc ram. On this new machine the virtual machine fail to start in both windows and Ubuntu host os. It is possible to start it I safe mode
