Windows 7 Guest Crashes when going fullscreen (only one monitor)

Description

I downloaded VBox last week so I could use some data analysis software that is only for Windows. I got my hands on a copy of Windows 7 64-bit and set up the VM. It worked fine until yesterday. I increased the size of the fixed disk by creating a new one and cloning the old one to it. Then, whenever I try to go into fullscreen, seamless mode, or scale mode, it aborts. I have tried giving it more video memory, more system memory, one processor, two processors, and changing chipset emulation, but nothing works. I attached the Vbox.log file of the latest crash. I also found ticket #11247 but that is dealing with multiple monitors and so I didn't think it would be that much help.

Host: Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon 64-bit Intel Core i5-3320M 2.6 GHz 8 GB RAM

Guest: Windows 7 64-bit 1 CPU 2 GB RAM

VBox version 4.2.14

I have a similar issue with seamless mode (guest aborts):

I just upgraded from VBox 4.2.4 to 4.2.14 on Host:Ubuntu 13.04 x64 with Guest:Windows 7 x64.

I reproduced to problem described in #11247 (seamless mode crash), but host/guest does not match.

I don't have issues with full screen however but seamless mode appears to crash every time.

I never noticed a crash going in seamless mode before this upgrade.

Can/Will provided more information if asked.

Please create the following registry entry and share the VBox.log file. HKLM/system/CurrentControlSet/Services/VBoxGuest/LoggingEnabled type DWORD and value 0xff.
