Description
I have had intermittent problems with vbox crashing for a long time.
Host: windows 7 SP1, 64 bit. Guest: Fedora Core 17, kernel 3.8.13-100.fc17.x86_64 Guest additions: installed (kmod-VirtualBox-3.8.13-100.fc17.x86_64-4.2.12-1.fc17.7.x86_64 VirtualBox-guest-4.2.12-1.fc17.x86_64)
Log: attached
vbox might stay up for hours or days at a time. It's unpredictable. It seems to be prone to crashing when gnome calendar alerts pop up. As this often happens on login, that's one time it tends to happen. Once I logged in via SSH to disable the calendar popup as I was otherwise unable to login.
I'm happy to send further info as requested. Please advise.
