IP address of the Virtual Box changes after every restart

Description

I am using Virtual Box version-4.2.8. I set the IP to 192.168.56.1, after a restart, IP address in the virtual box changes.

The VBox.log file you attached shows a session for a VM where only one NAT adapter is configured.

The VBox.log file you attached shows a session for a VM where only one NAT adapter is configured.

There is one NAT adapter configured for the virtual box, with a particular IP address, once virtual box is restarted, the set IP address changes to some default value. Take a look at the attachment vf.png for details.
