Description

Win XP guest, Win 2000 host. Bidirectional clipboard switches into host to guest after resizing taskbar. Tested under Win2000. You’re trying to free up disk space by removing unused languages (German, Russian etc.) in the NLS folder. Here is an reproduce under VirtualBox.

  • Input bar and copy or cut it to the clipboard.
  • Paste to virtual machine and text is not changed (the text is foo).

I'm sorry but I am having a bit of trouble following your report. Is the bit about removing languages relevant to the problem? If not, could you try to reproduce the problem without it? Something like:

  • Copy text from "notepad" on host.
  • Paste into "notepad" on guest. Succeeds.
  • Resize task bar (how do you actually do that?).
  • Try to paste into "notepad" on guest. Fails.

Thank you.

Go to the nls folder to remove unused languages. Korean is your mother tongue. How do you post inappropriate comments on this bug tracker?

What are you talking about? Did you mix up the tickets? I'm sorry but we don't have engineers talking Korean.

comment:4 by Tae, 11 years ago

Did you mix up the tickets: No.

The only person who translated the program into Korean is Park Shinjo (peremen).

Replying to frank:

Frank,

It was suspected that this was a bot or someone playing pranks in the forum. As indicated by the inappropriate comments quote section of this ticket. Same was with every topic in the forums and user was finally locked out.

Thanks Perry for the information :) The next time I see such an annoying posting from that user I will disable his account.

No, Frank. Comments that could be inappropriate or offensive could go through. You can swear in this bug tracker; but every time when he tries to swear in this bug tracker the moderators have to remove this comment.
