What Ubuntu version do you run as a Guest?
Also please specify detailed steps to reproduce the issue, i.e. what 3D applications do you have running in your guest, how do you make them crash the VM, etc..

Replying to misha:

Hi Misha, I run Ubuntu 12.10. I think it is related to that I closed / saved the VM and then resumed it the next day. I was able to work a few minutes with it and then it crashed. The first crash was in a context menu in the guest. Today it crashed again and I was just closing a window. Running Unity and Google Chrome - dev channel, other than that just many terminal windows.

Thank you and best regards, Florian

Thanks for the info. Your crash should be fixed on VBox trunk already. The fix will be available in the next major release.
I can give you a trunk test build though, that you could use to test whether the issue is solved for you.

Note that the trunk is under heavy development now, and thus this build can be used for testing purposes only, and can NOT be used in production environment.

Please let me know how it goes.
