VMware OVF Tool was used to create ubuntu.ovf file using command C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware OVF Tool>ovftool "c:\virtual machines\ubuntu\ubuntu.vmx" "c:\temp\ubuntu.ovf" The ubuntu.ovf file imports fine to VMware Player 5.0.0-812388 but not to VirtualBox 4.2.4-81684.
