SnowLeopard p2v not starting v4.2.4, does v4.1.22

Description
A vm based on a p2v clone of running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 system starts under v4.1.22 of VirtualBox. The same vm under v4.2.4 stops with Kernel trap, trapno:0x7, err:0x0.
Console image, VBox.log and VBoxSVC.Log are supplied
Hardware is iMac that came with Leopard 10.5 installed

now on 10.8.4 and VBox v4.2.14 and no improvement And cpu=1 still/always

no change with v4.2.16 on OSX 10.8.4
