Guest Additions 4.2.4 not working with Windows 8

Description
- Install Guest Additions 4.2.4 (with 3D and 2D disabled)
- Halt machine
- Enable 3D
- After booting, only a black window with a tiny blue rectangle (windows flag?) appears instead of the login screen.
Without 3D enabled, everything is fine. Guest is Win8 Enterprise Build 9200 (64bit) Host is Win7 Enterprise SP1 (64bit)
