Suspend-Resume of Windows Host Causes Virtual Disk I/O Errors

Suspend-Resume cycle of a Windows Hosts system causes a Linux guest to fail on Disk I/O.

The exact error that shows up is:

Host: Windows 7 Enterprise.
Guest: Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat)
