This has changed relatively recently to by default store the current state. The new default causes me (and doubtless others) many problems: I have inadvertently clicked 'OK' on a number of occasions, and thereby constructed a forked snapshot structure. Unfortunately this seems to be fairly buggy (at least on osx and linux hosts) and I have ended up with difficult restorations on a number of occasions. Ideally, I'd like to see the default set back to what it was originally (i.e. don't save the current state). However I can see there are arguments on the both sides if some hosts (I'm guessing windows) support more complex snapshot structures reliably. So if changing the default back isn't possible, please can you consider providing a user option to change the default behaviour. I'm marking this as OSX, but the same issue also applies to linux (unfortunately marking all would include windows, where it may not apply).",enhancement, new,GUI,VirtualBox 4.1.18,,restore snapshot,,all,Mac OS X
