Thanks for reporting, we are aware about this mail thread( please read the mail thread the author of the article references to). This mail thread was discussed on vbox-dev mail list while ago, if you have got something to add please use vbox-dev list. The tracker is used for real issues which our users have been met.

Let me append that we carefully follow the Fedora bug tracker where the original reporter was pointing to and the most cases when VirtualBox kernel modules were blamed it was something else.
