Component: | 3D support | Version: | VirtualBox 4.1.14 |
Keywords: | VBoxOGLpackspu glDrawArrays | Cc: | |
Guest type: | Linux | Host type: | Windows |
Description
I am consistently getting a segmentation violation running a Java application that uses OpenGL (JOGL). It's happening when the application calls glDrawArrays(). Details:
- Host: 64-bit Windows 7
- Guest: 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04
- Host display adapter: Radeon HD 6470M
- Host display driver version: 8.821.1.7000 (Windows Driver Manager reports up-to-date)
- VM settings (Display):
- Video Memory: 128 MB
- Enable 3D Acceleration
Possibly the problem lies somewhere in the following source file: https://www.virtualbox.org/browser/vbox/trunk/src/VBox/Additions/common/crOpenGL/pack/packspu_client.c
Core dump and VBox.log attached.

Could you give me the exact testcase (i.e. point me to the java application causing the crash, or whatever) so that I can reproduce it locally and fix it?
