Error with usb device having chars in serial number

Description
Hallo,
i do have a own usb 2.0 device with device description serial was wrong and not a number, but chars. Trying attaching this device was failed without error message. Only nothing happened and the device was in blocking state.
Only tested with windows7 32bit (guest+host)
See E_INVALIDARG Error in log file attached.
