What do you do (either in host or guest) to make the VM crash this way? Could you try disabling the 3D acceleration and see if it solves the problem?

Replying to misha:

My Guest is always on full screen mode. Auto-resize guest display is disabled.

My Guest OS has Microsoft Office 2010.

In my Guest, I had a Powerpoint open in full screen mode.

Then I wanted to check something in my Host (Win 7 SP1), so I did CTRL + F.

The Guest screen became black.

After finishing that I clicked back on Guest, and then again did CTRL + F so the Guest OS becomes full screen.

Then the black screen became white (my powerpoint background is white), I could see my powerpoint slide.

After moving forward one slide via pressing space bar, VirtualBox froze. It wouldn't respond to anything, i.e. I couldn't move forward anymore by pressing space bar.

And then Windows 7 (WER/Action Center) said VirtualBox crashed.

Ok it crashed again. (I am going to disable 3D now onwards)

Again this time I was in middle of my work.

But this time NO minidump was created? I looked in the localdumps folder.

It basically hanged for a few minutes with the green round circle of Windows 7 instead of a cursor.

Powerpoint was again in full screen mode.

This is what is shown in WER/Action Center:

And even with 3D mode disabled, VirtualBox crashed.

I was able to crash it by switching from Seamless mode CTRL + L to Fullscreen mode CTRL + F and back to Windowed mode CTRL + F and then CTRL + L again and now when I pressed CTRL + F it crashed.
