I installed CentOS 6.2. I rebooted, and pressed 'e' to edit the command line arguments to change the video mode. Before I could launch the kernel, I got Guru Meditation -1602 (VERR_PGM_HANDLER_VIRTUAL_CONFLICT).

Noteworthy: this happens after a random time interval after I hit a key to interrupt grub, from nigh-instant to about 10 seconds later. It does not occur at the same point in grub every time. If I don't hit a key to interrupt grub, it does not guru.
