I originally reported this to SuSE at: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=807062, but they have closed it as a VBox driver problem. I am still having the problem with VB 4.2.16 and the latest kernel. The problem seems to only happen on multiprocessor systems with the system under significant load. (log removed) |

On a SuSE 13.1 64 bit system running VirtualBox 4.3.12 an idle system with no VMs running goes from a memory footprint of 470 Mib to 2.6 Gig in about 10hrs to over 8 Gig in a couple of days. The memory is released if the manager is stopped and re-started. I did not have this problem with previous releases of VirtualBox on the same hardware. |

OpenSuse Linux host running kernel 3.17.2 Widows 10 guest AMD video card Upgraded from VirtualBox 5.0.8 to 5.0.10 System hangs viewing video files (i.e viewing news clip in Firefox) - appears to be a 100% cpu loop. Reverted to VirtualBox 5.0.8 and problem cleared up. Has happened to two different systems. |
