Host: Ubuntu 22.04, kernel 5.15.0-87

Guest: Windows 7 (64b), Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1), latest maintenance and MSE virus definitions installed.

VBox 7.0.12

Guest has VBox guest additions 7.0.10 installed.

Insert Guest additions CD 7.0.12.

Dclick on VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe causes immediate error popup: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file". (see attachment)

Dclick on VBoxWindowsAdditions-amd64.exe launches the installer. Installer can be started and runs into errors at all install steps (as far as can be determined by visual judgement). However, at the end the installer reports a successful install. After reboot, guest additions 7.0.10 are still installed and loaded. Apparently nothing of the 7.0.12 guest additions has been installed. No installer log was created/appended (or it could not be found).
