[vbox-dev] *ERROR* Failed to open channel (vmwgfx)

Hi,

What do we know about vmwgfx throwing error:

     *ERROR* Failed to open channel

Testing environment is:

- Guest: Fedora 37
- Host: Windows 10
- Virtualbox: 7.0.6 r155176 (Qt5.15.2)
- RPM: mesa-dri-drivers-22.2.2-1.fc37.x86_64

As a consequence, glxinfo falls back to software renderer and OpenGL is 
unusable:


> glxinfo | grep "OpenGL"
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa/X.org
OpenGL renderer string: llvmpipe (LLVM 15.0.7, 128 bits)

Was this working in previous VirtualBox versions?
It's a bug in Mesa?
