The Developers' mailing list isn't usually used for queries like that, the VirtualBox forums are: https://forums.virtualbox.org/

It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. Plus a discussion and analysis on the mailing list is going to help you, and _maybe_ a future drive-by user or two. Not so in the forums, many more tend to benefit...
