[vbox-dev] issues with blackPanter OS as guest OS in VirtualBox and suggested solution

Dear Madam/Sir,

I am writing to you in connection with a serious issue regarding the use of
blackPanther OS, as a guest OS, running in VirtualBox on other operating
systems.

In VirtualBox, blackPanther OS is not listed natively, therefore it causes
issues when anyone wishes to use the OS in VirtualBox. On Microsoft
Windows, for example, VirtualBox cannot handle blackPanther OS using the
default settings. Even when users try to use blackPanther OS with - for
example - settings for Ubuntu in VirtualBox, it causes the OS to produce
errors and crashes. Our Hungarian users also complain that blackPanther OS,
as the only Hungarian distribution, is not listed among the guest operating
systems.

To address these issues, we would like to upload a patch that we have been
using successfully for quite some time now (we even implemented the patch
into the version of VirtualBox used in blackPanther OS) that would enable
users seamless installation and use of the OS as a guest OS running in
VirtualBox.
