No updating or uninstalling VirtualBox does not uninstall/remove your 
VMs.  If you are updating from a really old version, it may be wise to 
take a backup of your VMs.

Anyway, please use the VirtualBox forums 
(https://forums.virtualbox.org/) or #vbox on IRC 
(https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/IRC) for questions related to using 
VirtualBox.  This mailing list is intended for VirtualBox development 
issues and not end-user issues.
