Please define what you mean by "slows down the restoration process" - 
your log clearly says that the VM was executing again after a bit more 
than a second, which is expected performance. The VM will re-establish 
its network connection, and so far the 5 second delay wasn't reported as 
an issue.

Anyway, it's a hardcoded delay which can't be changed by the user.
