[vbox-dev] Debian package version pinning

Hi,

we just had someone in #virtualbox using MINT Linux (based on Ubuntu based on Debian), that tried to install the virtualbox-4.2 package which was available two times.

To finally pin the virtualbox packages to the ones from the virtualbox.org repo we added a .pref file in /etc/apt/preferences.d/ called "oracle-virtualbox.pref" with the following content:

Package: virtualbox*
Pin: origin "download.virtualbox.org"
Pin-Priority: 1001

Maybe this is something to add at https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads

KR,

Oliver
