You don't get it.  I may or may not use it.  That is not the issue. If 
it is included in the normal build it must be configurable to allow to 
turn it on or off.  Simple as that.  Other than that you are saying to 
everyone this is what you get and you have no decision in the matter.  
Right now you are telling me that it is off by default and the only way 
to activate it is to compile it yourself and activate it. That works for 
people that compile their own version, but you have not considered the 
regular user that wants to use it and has no way to turn it on unless it 
is configurable.  All of the other features are configurable this way.  
What makes this one so special that it should not be the same?
