I re-use all the management features of VBox, except the network
layer, which is built-for, and managed-by, GNS3.
It makes great user experience, when one can manually choose
non-network-related options, and still have GNS3 to wire cables
correctly.

The screenshot shows 4 VBox VMs connected to 2 Dynamips switches, with
the possibility to add Routers in between. GNS3 automatically wires
all engines with UDP sockets, as seen in running VBox settings in
screenshot.
