[vbox-dev] Manipulating boot options for linux kernel (Grub)

Hi all,
Is there a way in virtualbox to change the linux kernel boot options without
having to do it manually? (i.e. Hit ESC on grub and then edit the command)
I'm using the grub boot loader but I might be able to change that if needed
