[vbox-dev] Network device precedence - rethink required?

Greetings,

In the the 3.2.x series of VirtualBox there is a '--nicbootprio'
option which sets the net boot order. Currently, the larger the number
the greater the precedence for the particular network device, with the
ordering from highest to lowest.

I'm wondering if this should be changed to be the opposite, so that by
default, the network boot priority goes from lowest to highest.. and
so by default:

- the network interface number could be used (starting from 0 or 1)
- additional network interfaces can be added/removed without upsetting
the existing boot sequence.

Thoughts?
