[vbox-dev] good way of detecting guest vm reboot?

One way is to detect the additions state from the vm, any other better way to detect a reboot?
 
I know that Qemu can detect that VM has been reboot. Because hardware state reset at the VMM level.
I think something similar should be possible with VBox, too.
