[vbox-dev] seamless taskbar integration

This is a screenshot of the seamless taskbar. The last two buttons on taksbar are from apps running inside vm.

You can play with the new feature with our upcoming version. We are trying to release it within this month.
 
After that, I will submit the source code to vbox team.
 
The requirement of implementing it on the host is very few, so should be easy to make it to work on Linux host. The guest side would require more work, especially hooking into different window managers on Linux.

A while ago, I mentioned that we are implementing the taskbar integration. Finally, we have something working for Windows guest on Windows host, we will release it with our next VMLite version.
 
If vbox wanted to include this feature, we can contribute the code changes. Basically, it merges the guest taskbar icons to the host taskbar.
 
Those are good news indeed !

Anything to test ? A build of.. ?
