[vbox-dev] Guest property limit?

Thanks for the info.
I see the max # of guest properties are 256, which explains the error messages I was getting. Since Windows 7 guest could easily have 256 shortcuts under its Start menu.
Will try to increase the limit, and see if perf is still acceptable.

You can find the limits here:


They are relatively restrictive at the moment to prevent creating a DoS
vector and also because the code/data isn't fully optimized yet (linear
searches, etc).
