[vbox-dev] First impressions

Host: Mandriva Linux 2010/x64

The really Bad News is that:
A. my VM often lose their storage configuration,
-and during re-configuration-
B. BIG BLOCKER !!! VBox GUI eats all my CPU cycles and all my RAM,
including swap.
This makes make host very slow to the point that it stops responding
to mouse and keyboard events, so that I have to press "reset" button.

This happens even if "vboxdrv" is unloaded. The bug exists in VBoxSVC process.
It takes less than 10 seconds between this bug occurs (when RAM usage
growth suddenly explodes), until it hoses my host totally. Very hard
for me to understand what happens in such a short time.

To reproduce:
Please remove all storage controllers from VM, and try to re-add them,
IDE/CDROM, and VDI image with snapshot in IDE controller.
