[vbox-dev] r23272 - New I/O code

Hi,

since revision r23272 VirtualBox uses a new I/O implementation.
Because this implementation is quite new it may still contain bugs which
might also cause corruption of the images.
If you use the development version make sure to backup the images or
create snapshots to protect the base images against write access.
If you encounter any problems with the new implementation please report
it to this list so we can fix it.
