You say you are running your guest as AMD64. However, from
the output of make it seems that the kernel-* packages are
installed as i386 not x86_64?
What is the output of
$ uname -a
$ rpm -qa --queryformat '%{NAME}-%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE}.%{ARCH}\n' kernel\*
in the guest?
