Thanks for message, I should have remembered this from seeing Frank's  
comments on the qemu-dev mailing list.

Since I'm building on Darwin, is it possible to use X11 instead of any  
of the OS X windowing libs?  I'm compiling with Qt, and SDL from  
macports (if there's any interest, I can send patches to the configure  
script which can allow this) instead of the binary-only, so I figure  
on any non-darwin unix platform, it's using X11 right?
