[vbox-dev] Building windows guest additions

Hey there guys,

This might bbe a silly question but I dind't found any info around the
web after a quick research.
On the OSE, can I build the guest additions (windows and linux)
without building all the package?
What are the requisites if I just want the additions build? Does it
still uses ATL and so requires full VS?
If VS is not a requirement, can the windows additions be build from
linux using mingw?
After these are build how can they be used?

I've noticed that tehre was a project to provide these drivers
(http://code.google.com/p/virtual-box-windows-guest-additions-installer)
but It has since be abbandoned.
